Hosler/Hess?
Hi,
My maiden name was Hosler and I am trying to trace that side of my family. The information I am sure of is as follows. My father's name is George Willard Hosler. He was born 12/27/31 in Detroit, Michigan. His parent's were Erma Vandermark and George Willard Hosler. My grandfather was born 2/14/12 in South Boardman, Michigan and was the son of Willard B. H. Hosler born 9/26/1887 or 1888 in Michigan. On 24 Nov 1910 in South Boardman, Kalkaska Co., Michigan he married a woman named Fern Adel Gardner born 23 Apr 1892 in South Boardman, Kalkaska Co., Michigan. She died 9 Oct 1919 in Detroit, Wayne Co., Michigan and was buried 12 Oct 1919 in Boardman Township Cemetery, South Boardman, Kalkaska Co., Michigan shortly after her last son was born. His name is Victor Hosler and was living in Missouri until his death but he had very little info due to being raised by other's. He was an infant when she died. I know that some of the other family members settled there too. Their 3rd son was Merle K. Hosler. Willard's parents were John H. HOSLER and Flora HESS but I don't know when and where they were born. There is reason to believe the family may have come from Pennsylvania but not sure on that or if so where. I also know that George, Willard, And Victor are family names that have been used often, in various combinations. If any of this sounds like a possible connection could you please contact me at [email protected] with family history in the subject and also respond here so I don't miss the message. I would also be willing to share info. I have with others if wanted.
Thank-You,
~Deb~
