From Federal Bureau of Land Management web-site,a Samuel Burns was given 160 acres in Chariton Co.,Mo.,1819 thru the Scrip Warrant Act of 1812. An Andrew Burns,160 acres in Linn Co.,Mo.,1819,same act. 2 William Burns records,160 acres in Linn Co.,Mo.,160 acres, Carroll Co.,Mo.,same act. This Samuel was "Private in Loves Co.,43rd Reg.of Inf.".This Andrew was "Private ? Corps of Artillery". William Burns(1)was "Sgt.Crawfords Co.,8th Inf.",William(2)was "Private Strothers Co.,10th Reg."..All 3 counties abut, so looking at the early day these guys could be related...Al
