Michael, The last three columns on the 1880 census are (from left to right): Place of birth of this person Place of birth of the father of this person Place of birth of the mother of this person I don't think any census form has a year the person left a state or moved to a state, but some census years do have a column for year of immigration if born outside the U.S. Hope this helps.
