I haven't found much to help. But it looks like you have the right family in MO. William and Mary Blain had a daughter named Nancy J. In 1867 she married Robert P. Bellew in Ray Co, MO. Here's Nancy and her husband in 1880 Denton Co, TX:

1880 United States Federal Census
Household Members: Name Age
Robert P. Ballew 41
Nancy J. Ballew 32
Mary J. Ballew 12
Joseph W. Ballew 10
George T. Ballew 8
Martha Ballew 7
Sarah C. Ballew 5
Ella P. Ballew 2
Carah M. Ballew 6M
Source Citation: Year: 1880; Census Place: Precinct 1, Denton, Texas; Roll: T9_1300; Family History Film: 1255300; Page: 12.3000; Enumeration District: 100; .
