I am looking for information on my great-great grandfather, Samuel Bull (11 Jul 1823-2 Jan 1877) who married Rachel Dale (13 Mar 1838-12 Sep 1892) on 20 Oct 1853 in Harrison County, MO. According to the 1870 U.S. Census, Missouri, Harrison County, Bethany Township; Samuel was born in Virginia. The census indicates that Rachel Dale was born in Tennesse, but the Dale family moved from Virginia to Tennessee to Missouri. Rachel's Dale lineage is Rachel, James Alfred Dale(1809-1879) TN->MO, William Dale(1778-1836) VA->TN, William Dale(1737-?) VA->TN, William Dale(1715-1758)VA, Abraham Dale(1693-1740)VA, Reuben Dale(1650-1692)VA, Thomas Dale(1624-1664)VA, & Nicholas Dale(1604-1647)UK->VA.
I don't known if the Bull and Dale families were acquainted prior to Samuel and Rachel. Any help would be appreciated. -- Dick Gordon
