I am searching for further information on the Cannaday brothers (Winfield (Joe as his nickname) Dock, and George Ike. All three were born in Alabama Lauderdale Co, and married three sisters from Tennessee named Minnie, Jennie Bell, and Lennie Pearl Buchanan. I was able to find Dock, married to Minnie in the 1900 Tennesse, Hardin Co census. Also, I found all three brothers in the 1920 Hopkins Co Texas census. Winfield (W.F.) Cannaday was found in the 1930 census in Missouri, Dunklin Co. Winfield is my grandfather. I have heard, but cannot confirm, that the Cannaday brothers had Cherokee blood in the family line. Again, I cannot confirm this. Any further information would be appreciated.
