FreeWill Baptists in 1817

Searching for ancestors of Mary Irena Bartlett HALL as follows:

Mary Irena Bartlett b. 27 Mar 1813, Macksburg OH.
m. 6 Jun 1833 Joseph B. Hall (b. Olean, NY 31 Oct 1810 d. 7 Aug 1885, OH).

Irena was son of James Bartlett (Joseph2, Joseph1). James was born in Suffolk Co. MA. James died in 1818.

James and his wife Betsey Davis, b. Maine, dau. Charles Davis, (Lincoln Co. Maine) were members of the first Free Will
Baptist Society, which headed west to an area "below St. Louis, MO," in the mid 1810's. They suffered through a horrible
winter in 1817-1818 and died out there. Upon hearing the news of the death of his daughter, Chas. Davis traveled there and
retrieved his three grandchildren, including young Irena and her two brothers.

Irena, as she was known, was a wonderful woman and the subject of writing in the Marietta, Washington Co., newspapers for
her early frontier rememberances. Now I'm trying to nail down her ancestors.

Thanks for your help...

Brad Patrick
