I am searching for information regarding George, Annie, and Abram Van Buskirk. According to Shoemaker's book, they are brothers and sister. Their father was George V Van Buskirk, son of Aaron Van Buskirk. Aaron was born in 1750 PEnnsylvania.

George Van Buskirk was born in 1825 TOmpkins County, New York. He married a Mary Jane Millage. He has lived in Canada, Illinois, Iowa, and lived and died in Missouri with his wife.

Annie was born in New York. I hear she as a nurse for Union Soldiers during the Civil war, lived in Washington DC, and died in Elmira, Chemung county, New York. According ot Ancestry.com, she was living with a Samuel H. Laney and a FAnnie LAney ( Elmira 1889-1893 city directory). I was able to access the 1891 city directory for Elmira via www.usgenweb.com site. She is not listed there. I've been told she died in Elmira as well.

Abram was orphaned in 1851 when his mother died and lived with a Moses Barker. He married a Flora Moore ( Merryfield according to shoemaker's book) and died in St. Clair County, Missouri. His brother George, died in Cedar County, Missouri, south of St. Clair County.

Their parents were George V VAn Buskirk b. 1794 Pennsylvania d. 1849 Tompkins County, NY
Anna Brondyke d. 1851 NY.

Any further information regarding Anna Brondyke, George V vAn Buskirk, and Annie Van Buskirk will be most helpful!
