Wallace/McEwen - Nodaway County 1860's

Hi,

I could use some help with the family of Thomas D. Wallace, born about 1820 in NH and married to Olive McEwen of Ohio.

They settled in Nodaway County Missouri in the 1860's and he became a judge.

I am researching an orphan they took in for a short time. She was only with them until a permanent home was found for her.

I need to know if the wife, Olive McEwen was related to a local Methodist Episcopal Church South minister named Jacob McEwen.

Olive McEwen was born in Ohio about 1832.

Jacob McEwen was the son of an Oliver McEwen living in Montgomery County Missouri in 1850. Oliver McEwen was from PA.

Any help appreciated,

Many thanks,

Karren A.
