Ellie / Effie Gray would of been Jake's second wife if this is the correct Jake Kuykendall. I have only found this one Jacob "Jake" Kuykendall in the area Right age..... In 1910 census Ellie's father John L Gray is living next door to Jakes father Daniel Kuykendall and his second wife Poline who is buried next to Daniel in Evergreen Cem. Republic,Mo.(record on line)
Daniel's first wife was Sarah Ann Martin I have a snail into the cem at Republic,Mo. so hoping this will bring forth a little more info.
I have 1880,1900, and 1910 census.
Thank you for looking up The 1910 census---what is needed is the 1920 but don't know if they were still in Christian, Greene, Stone, or even Lawrence county. John L. Gray family went to Jasper county, lived east of Carthage, at Red Oak, Mo. My husbands relatives in the above counties were Gray's, Maple's, Epperson, Martin's, Edwards. And all those lines married into most any family that lived in those counties. My favorite is Birdwell Thomas married Rebecca Maples. I have Rebecca'a picture when she was a little girl holding her dolly, standing by the wood pile..
Thanks again.
