James in the 1920 census for Batesville. He is single, 24, listed as a nephew and living with the Ruddell family. Going back to 1900 I found a "Happel James" living in Washington, Independence, AR (same county as Batesville). He is the son of William and Annie? James, both born TN. Siblings were Maud, William and Nellie. Happel's birthdate was Feb 1897 according to this census. If you want the whole listing I can give it to you. William James was a doctor.
