This man was my uncle we knew him as Patrick Kane..
The story is that he left home or ran away..and went into service... He went AOL after a couple years and then suppose to have changed his name to Patrick Kane and went back into service..He has one daughter that is pretty sick and she wants to try to find his family as she has no one but me and my dad..Pat never talked much about his family,
never mentioned his parents names.. he did mention having a sister named violet, charlotte, a brother named Allen they think..and one called Dorthy or something simalar to this..
He told people he was from St. Louis Missouri area and lived on a farm... we have no clue how true this is I havent been able to come up with anything in the census other than a Frank and Fannie Wright..(could he really have been a Kane and the Wright was a false name).. He said his birthday was Feb 14, 1921 (Now that is a birthday I would pick if I needed a new one).. I checked his service record under Patrick Kane and they said he was born in Majestic , Ky.. I know for a fact this is not true..I would would think that his family has worried about him all these years.
I have an older picture of him if I can find it I am going to add to the web page. Only other clues were he was what they called an Old Time Babtist, and he became a minister,
and he went to Tulsa , Oklahoma to that Oral Roberts Minestry .. also when he got sick he went to Tulsa Oklahoma
to a hospital and there is where he died..He was living in Ohio at the time..(could it be possible that he went back to where his roots where?)any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much...
