Transcribed from a hand-written letter given to Uncle Robert Goforth by an old school teacher in Mountain Grove, Missouri (circa 1986).

Goforth Cemetery

"For want of a better name, this cemetery is located on higher across Bryant Creek on the south side across the hill from the Blankenship farm in Douglas County, south of Mansfield just beside the road on the lower side."

"Goforth, Polly Ann - died age 39 yr., 5 mo, 29 da., on Apr 20, 1885
Wife of Miles Goforth" (Note: could be 29 yr.)

"Polly Ann Aug 29, 1888 - Aug 16, 1889
Dau of G. W. & Sarah (Hill) Goforth"

"Several unmarked graves."

" G. W. Goforth married Sarah Hill, 19 Aug 1889"

" Miles Goforth married Matilda Blankenship, 5 Nov 1885"

" John Goforth married Eliza Percell, 12 Mar 1889"

Just though I would like to post this to see if anyone has and connections
