If anyone would happen to be visiting the Saint Louis Missouri library and would have a few minutes to look some information up for me. See if they have death OBT: or any information on this family. (Anna (Howe) Liggett/ I need help with my ggg grandmother, Anna Howe died in St. Louis, MO. November 01, 1888, born around 1847??. Anna died leaving six small children. She married Robert Selden Liggett - May 24, 1874 . Children were Edwin 1876,Cora 1877,Harry 1879,Ruby 1881,Virgie 1884 and Wilbur 1887. Story tells that Anna's family lived on a plantation (Louisiana) her father was killed about the time they had the black uprising. Story tells that Anna sister, brother and mother were sent away to Missouri about the time that happened. I have no names of her parents. Any Liggett/Leggett or Howe/Howell have any info on this, I would be most grateful. Thank you, Debbie.
