Today is my first time here. My ancestors are from the Missouri area. My great-great grandfather is William Dalton, b 1796 in NC or KY, my grandfather is Jeremiah Dalton, b 4/13/1833, Ripley Co., Mo, m 4/9/1854 to Nancy J. Hurd, d 3/2/1881, Mine LaMotte, buried at the Mine LaMotte cemetery. My grandfather, one of 9 children, was Elijah Levi Dalton, b 4/1/1867, Mine LaMotte, Mo, m Laura Ann Clubb, 12/23/1891, Mine LaMotte, Madison Co., Mo, d 7/28/1930, Detroit, Wayne Co., MI, buried in Mo?? My father Donald H. Dalton was the baby of their 13 children. The other children of Jeremian and Nancy are: David S., Sarah S., Nancy J., William A., Joseph S., Elizabeth, John H., and Thomas F.(Frank)(Frank had a daughter Rose, who married a --Leach). All of the children were born at Mine LaMotte except for Frank, who was born at Ironton, i. Francois Co., Mo. Are these Daltons related to you? Hope to hear from you soon.
