Sherrie: This is indeed my family. I kept coming across Nesbitt, but the connection wasn't clear until I got Charles' death info. I always knew the Shooks lived up around Northern California, and Myrtle was there shortly before she died. I do have the 1910 census info, and was shocked to find them in Imperial Country, way on the other side of the state before migrating. It is all coming together now. My grandmother and I didn't have much contact growing up and I was always told they lived in Sabastopol and around the area, but I never knew they were in Imperial County, even though Myrtle probably met her husband, my g grandfather there. Another mystery was the name "Lulu" Shook. I thought it was a nickname, but was told it wasn't. She was "Lulu" on the 1910 census, but thanks to you I know her name was Lucinda and I can now begin tracing her line! Thanks for your help! Kelly Notify Administrator about this message?
