Hi Janel,,,
I'm a descendant of CHARLES MOORE & ELIZABETH KIRKHAM, they are my 5th great grandparents beleived to have been born in Virginia. They had at least three children: Allen - b. January 11, 1789; Arthur - b. 1791 & Unknown - b. 1793.
ALLEN MOORE & HANNAH BONSER [daughter of ISAAC BONSER & ABIGAIL BURT] were my 4th great grandparents. Hannah was born in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, and Allen was born in Woodford County, Kentucky. Allen & Hannah Moore, had 15 children.
*Note - Most of Allen & Hannah Moore's children that had families, usually had several children as well. My 3rd great grandfather, LUTHER MOORE, was married twice. He & his first wife [my 3rd great grandmother, MARY JANE STEWART] had 12 children. She died with Small Pox while giving birth to their 12th child. Luther remarried. He and his second wife, SARAH JANE KEARNEY, had 6 children.
The families may have started in VA, but moved to some of the following places: Woodford, KY; Scioto, OH; Attwood, Piatt County, IL; Montgomery County, IN; FL; KS; Joplin, MO; IA; TX; CA.

Since there are so many Moore's,, it's possible to be related to almost anyone that has Moore's in their genealogy. *smile*
