1870 Marion Co.census America is head of household Palmyra
1880 " " America is 51 HOH Palmyra.
James 38, Mo. druggist
Edward 18, Mo. Blacksmith
Palmyra Cemetery (this is the old cemetery)
Geo. W. Bowman s/o J.C. & A. 21 Aug. 1853 - 6 June 1856
John H. " " " died 11 Oct. 1858 2y 9mo 10dys
I read this cemetery in 2006, so feel confident this is correct. Will check and see if J.C. is buried w/o stone.
There is a lot with J.C. Bowman owner in new Greenwood Cemetery, but, I showed no burials when I read it in 2006.
Finding no children of J.C. in the Mo. archives death cert. database in Marion Co..
