The 1,235 names for obituaries and death notices published in the Kirksville Daily Express, Kirksville, MIssouri (Adair County) in 2008 have now been added to the total online index. It now contains 31,867 names for the years 1979 through 2008 and may be viewed free: http://sites.google.com/site/glloydsite/. The index contains many names of those who lived in the adjacent counties of Putnam, Sullivan, Macon, Knox, and Schuyler plus some who had once lived in this area and since moved far away. Hard copies of obituaries and death notices may be obtained by mail from the Adair County Historical Society for a reasonable fee.
