I've been finding some information on Joseph Henry Sweet, who is related to Rev. Theophilus Sweet (somehow). The following information is taken from the 1850 Lewis Co, MO, the 1850 Sangamon Co, IL censuses, the online _Early Settlers of Sangamon County - 1876_ (ESSC) and the USGenWeb Sangamon & Lewis County webpages. For those of you more closely related to Joseph Henry, here it is.
Joseph Henry Sweet - in the 1850 Lewis Co, MO census (family #373), 63 [b. 15 Mar 1789], farmer, born in NY. His wife, Abigail (NEAL) - 59 [b. 30 Oct 1793], CN, is with him. They had eight children in Otsego, NY and then moved to Sangamon Co, IL in 1830. It appears that somewhere around 1840 he and his family moved to Lewis Co, MO. However, by 1852, Joseph Henry & his wife moved to Scyene, Dallas Co, TX and he soon became the postmaster. He died while in office in 1864 and his wife also died that same year.

Francis & Phebe were married 17 Jun 1845, in Lewis Co, MO. Francis & Margaret were married 2 Dec 1849 in Lewis Co, MO. And then he must marry again later, because he, at age 66, and Alice Almaine KESNER, 32, have a child, Elsie Lavina Sweet, 27 March 1886, in Lewis Co, MO.
