I'm not a Lewis Co. resident, but, the majority of the transcriptions were done around the late 70's early 80's.
If you know where they were living in the 1850 census you might start with cemeteries in that area. There were a lot of Jackson's buried in Lewis Co. and a Wm. that was of a diffent generation. Just not your Wm. and Eliz.
mygin@centurytel.net is with the Lewis Co. Hist. Soc. and can probably tell you if there has been more cemeteries read since the book was published. She could also look to see if there is an obit that might state burial site. There were Jackson's buried in 5 or 6 different cemeteries in Lewis Co.
