Found the Arend's in the Lewis, Missouri & Lee, Iowa area. I went back to August Arend & Rickey C. Maier or Myer. Rickey's middle name could be Christina. I also found her name as Frederica C. Arand. August came from Germany & settled down in Lagrange, Lewis, Missouri. August killed himself on Dec 29, 1920. I guess his wife died before him. I found his death certificate saying he was a windowed. It also says his father name is John Arind. August had 5 son's. John, August H, Otto F, George B, & Eddie.
