There are published abstracts for two newspapers, 1875-1880, The Fountain & Journal and the Chieftain. The are no Hinds, Hines, etc. in the indexes for this time period. The Peirce City Empire is extant from 1876, but there are no published abstracts. They lived in Mt. Pleasant Twp. in 1870 so I checked the published tombstone inscriptions for Mt. Pleasant, Vineyard, and Pierce townships. There are some Hines and Hinds in the indexes, but all were born after 1880. I also checked the index to the probates, 1845-1908, but there is no Hines there.

I did find Melvina & William Sampson in Kansas in 1880 if you need that data. I didn't find Elizabeth & Francis Goatly in 1880. I didn't find the sons either.
