Ross, it appears all these Haley men are sons of George Haley Sr. of Warren Co., Tn., or close related. Where the name "Rishton", thats mis-spelled either in my papers, or papers in Lawrence Co.,Mo. George Haley Sr. married Louvica Callahan in Kentucky, and later move to Warren Co., Tn. George Haley Sr. mother-in-law was (maiden name) Elizabeth Rishton and she married John Callahan. The Rishton and Callahan families were native Cherokee, the family that was not in Kentucky, went thru the horrible "Trail of Tears". It appears this native family ended in Missouri. George Haley Jr. born in Warren Co., Tn. March 10, 1826. He married to Abigael Rhea in Cannon Co., Tn. Sept. 28, 1848. They had 4 daughters: Josephine, Louvica, Elizabeth M. and Ruth S. They move to Mt. Vernon, Mo. in 1866. Gerald Barnell Fowler
