In the published marriage records, the bride's name is given as first name then maiden name, so Peter's second wife was named Cary Joshlyn.
Peter, Carrie, Jesse, and Edith Lewis are living on Washington Street in the city of Sarcoxie, Jasper Co., Missouri, in 1910, dwelling # 476, family # 491:
Lewis, Peter, head, m, w, 43, mar. 2, 3 yrs., Missouri, unknown, unknown, miner, zinc mines
-------, Carrie, wife, f, w, 25, mar. 1, 3 yrs., 1 child, 1 living, Michigan, Michigan, Michigan
-------, Jesse, son, m, w, 8, single, Missouri, Michigan, Missouri
-------, Edith, daughter, f, w, 2, single, Missouri, Michigan, Missouri
Unfortunately the census taker (who also unfortunately happens to have been my g-g-g-uncle James L. Osborn), switched the father's and mother's birthplaces for the children. And Carrie was not Jesse's mother, so his mother's birthplace should have been Missouri instead.
I will email you with some questions and suggestions.
And thanks for the offer to do lookups at the St. Louis Co. Library Genealogy Dept. I may take you up on that.
