Old Military School for boys In Northwest Lawrence CO
Posted by: Carole Mobley (ID *****5024) Date: April 04, 2007 at 06:35:27

Hi,
I'm seeking info on an old military school, located in the northwest area of Red Oak Township/Plew, Lawrence County, MO.
I have been to the stone foundation ruins, with 2 standing chimneys, on both the east & west ends. I think it would have been at least two stories in height & may have burned down.
I think there was a historical stone or metal marker on the west side of the property, when I visited the property with my grandfather, back in the late 1950's.
I would like to know it's name & dates established & more history about this school.

Thank you in adavnce.
Carole Mobley
