You are too generous! Thank you for the offer. Realistically, I think you have enough on your Missouri itinerary to look for my stuff. Actually, I am hoping to get back to Missouri sometime this fall. I used to live in Springfield. Think one thing that makes Missouri research fun are the extraordinarily helpful-knowledgeable-and nice staff at local libraries, courthouses, archives. I sure you are familiar with the Shepard Room, Springfield-Greene County library and the Greene County Archive. The latter is a great source for reproductions of 19th century, Missouri, county histories and atlases which are sold at outrageously low prices.

Thank you for your offier and the additional information. Have a great trip, it sounds like fun.
