Went through the cemetery books at hand for LawCo. Found some Whittingtons but not the ones you are looking for. The Secretary of State of Misssouri has web site. Death certificates may be found here. Found one for Susan... dod.19 Jan 1931 in Barry Co, #79. My guess she's buried there too. You can request the cert. and it's only a dollar and a SASE, but the staff have beeen inundated with requests. Twelve week turn around time for requests. Any record for Benjamin will be dumb luck. 1883-1893 the counties recorded deaths, birth and still births. These got recorded because the reporting party got paid 25c per report. There was no teeth in the law, nothing mandatory.
