Are you aware of a Mary Jane Boswell listed as a grandaughter in the Will of Greenberry B Sooter of Newton County, MO? I have a connection to this Sooter individual in that his daughter Paulina Sooter married Arkley Gaw, a nephew of my 5th Grandfather Erasmus Gaw who lived in Lawrence County and was a Minister of the Gospel in the local area from 1851-1865.

Grandchildren named as heirs in the Will found on page 404 of Newton County "Wills & Administrations, 1838-1888", Minerva Sooter, Sarah A Bird, Josephine Hayler, MARY JANE BOSWELL, Margaret M Niceley, Lafayett Gaw, $1.00 ea.

For more information on the Wormington and Schooling surnames, check out the website of C W Croston:
Mr. Croston has posted a Book of the 12 families by individual surnames of Lawrence County.
