I just returned from a reunion in Monette this weekend and took some time to find the 'City Cemetery' in Pierce City. It is located about 3 blocks south on the street with the Catholic Church's tall steeple, the only building not to have any damage from last Spring's devastating tornado.

City Cemetery is dated 1864 and across the south side of the street from City Cemetery are 2 Catholic Cemeteries, St. Patrick's and St. Mary's.

Hope this helps!

Jean
