I have been unable to locate Josiah and Julia Martin in the 1860 census in Kansas or Missouri. Nor have I found their marriage license. Josiah's father was in Atchison County, Kansas before 1860.
Josiah was born April 06, 1835 in Kentucky and died March 16, 1895 in Nowata County, Oklahoma. Julia Ann (Berry) Martin was born October 20, 1840 in Missouri and died July 30, 1876 in Platte County, Missouri. Josiah was in Estill County, Kentucky in 1850 with his parents, Julia was in Buchanan County, Missouri in 1850 with her parents.
They were in Platte County, Missouri in 1870 as husband and wife with 6 children. Julia died there. Later Josiah and children moved to Nowata County, Oklahoma. It seems that there was much travel between Missouri and Kansas during that time. They had to have married in Kansas or Missouri.
Their children were listed in the 1870 census:
Platte County, Missouri; City of Weston August 25, 1870
-------------------------- ---------------------------------
Martin, Josiah H, Age 36, Farmer POB:Kentucky Born: 1834
Martin, Julia W, 30, Missouri 1840
Martin, Susan D, 12 Kansas 1858
Martin, Emma D, 10 Missouri 1860
Martin, Mary E. D, 7 Kansas 1863
Martin, William S, 5 Missouri 1865
Martin, Lillie D. D, 3 Missouri 1867
Martin, Lizzie D, 4/12 Missouri 4-1870
1. Susan married James Madison Hicks
2. Emma married Dan Anderson and Jim Farley
3. Mary married Ed Sharp
4. William married Margaret Alice White
5. Lillie D. married Swope
6. Lizzie married Charley Longbone and James Bennett

Surely others are working on thses lines, PLEASE HELP!!!!
All help will be acknowledged and appreciated.
