I have a very old newspaper clipping found in my great-great-grandmother's "Newspaper Clippings Scrapbook" It is the death notice of Mrs. Jane E Cauchois. In the corner grandma wrote "Sacred". Her is the obit:
CAUCHOIS--On the morning of Nov. 2, 1877, after a long sickness borne with Christian fortitude, Mrs. Jane E. CAUCHOIS, beloved wife of Maxim Cauchois of this city and only sister of the late Charles Tripler, M.D. surgeon in U.S. army. Funeral will take place from residence, No. 1213 Pine Street, at 2 o'clock Monday, Nov. 5, to Bellefontaine cemetery.
New York, Brooklyn and Detroit papers please copy.

I cannot find her grave listed on find-a-grave website. The cemetery is in St Louis, MO.
