Vickie, I did find info on Lucy Darrow James taking care of her brother (anthony? deaf) that is when I realized it went much further than my great-grandparents..it shocked me. I have the Darrow Family Tree and I will look for some info for you. My father was the first born, and only had two girls, I am the oldest and I had two sons, neither deaf. Seems it was the women who carried the gene, and always the second son was deaf, and every son after that. I have a first female cousin, born to a female, who has deaf boys, unfortunatley I have lost track of her. You would think after all these years the gene has died out, but not as far as I can see. I knew nothing of the Albino, but find that very interesting also. Thank you for the info, we must be cousins?
