Death of Thomas L. Kincheloe

Thomas L. Kincheloe died on May 18th at his home in the Abo neighborhood, aged 91 years, 5 months and 16 days.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.R. Reid and burial was in the Cross Roads graveyard.

Thomas L. Kincheloe was born in Kentucky, December 2, 1827. He came to Missouri with his parents when a child.

He was united in marriage with Miss Jane Rippy in 1846. To them were born 10 children - 3 sons and 7 daughters.

He is also survived by 48 grandchilden, 66 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kincheloe professed faith in Christ in early life and united with the M.E. Church.

He was a veteran of two wars having served in the Mexican and civil wars.

Mr. Kincheloe was one of the pioneer citizens of Laclede county and most of his life was spent here and he did his share in the development of the county. He was a good citizen.
