William Perry Foster (age 30) and Noah O'Neal (about age 43) both died 17 Mar. 1864. They lived south of Rose Hill near the county line. Foster is buried in Pemberton Cemetery. Foster's wife's relatives handled both probates but the men were not related. They MAY have been guerrillas killed by Federal Forces.
1. Does anyone know how they died?
2. Does anyone know of anyone else who died on that day in Johnson County?
