I am seeking information on Solomon Thomas Cox who settled near Centerview 1832. He is mentioned in the History of Johnson county as Uncle Solomon one of the first settlers in the Centerview district. Solomon moved to Oregon about 1848. His oldest son Elijah Cox stayed in Johnson county. Elijah's son Solomon A Cox is my gg grandfather. Solomon Thomas wife Mary died in Missouri before the move to Oregon. Also Elijah Cox wife Mary Carney is said to have died at Post Oak about 1854?
