I am looking for information about Lucinda Barton, her husband Charles H. Harris, and there children.
Lucinda was a daughter of Leroy Jackson Barton and Christina Collins. She was born ca 1829 KY and Charles born 1825 KY. I think Lucinda died before 1870 Johnson Co., MO?
Children of Lucinda and Charles:
1. Serelda J. Harris b. 1849 MO
2. Joseph Harris b. 1852
Is he the Joseph Harris buried Rock Springs Cem. 1852-1936?
3. William G. Harris b. 1854 MO
4. Leonard S. Harris b. 1858 MO
5. Charles H. Harris b. 24 Aug., 1862 Johnson Co., MO and
d. 27 April, 1931 Rose Hill, Johnson Co., MO.
married Huldah V. Givens d/o Alaxander and Polly Givens.
Huldah b. 18 March, 1857 and d. 02 May, 1894.
Both buried Rock Springs Cem.
After Lucinda died, Charles married her sister Nancy J. Barton. They had two children:
1. Mary E. Harris b. 1875 MO
2. Cora E. Harris b. 1878 MO
Nancy ( a widow) and her two daughters are in 1880 Sugar Loaf, Sebastian Co., AR, living with her brother James M. Barton and his family.
Lucida's sister, Sarah E. Barton, married John Robert Shackelford, my gg grandfathers brother, 19 Feb., 1865 in Johnson Co., MO.
Would like to know when Lucinda and Charles died and where buried. Also anything about the children.
