Hi, Debbie. Many thanks for your reply to my post re my Huffs in Johnson Co MO bet 1880-1897. It turns out the Huff children I was interested in are stepchildren to Martin Reed Watson as per the 1880 census in VA but are listed as Watsons on that census. There were 3 Huff children by the wife Mary of M.Reed Watson: John S. R. b 1865, Nellie (Ann) b 1867 and Virginia b 1869-70 by her first marriage. So they were hiding right under my nose.
My Huffs were apparently not in MO until after the 1880 census and none of your later given names seem to match up. Many thanks for posting your information; one never knows what connections might be made.
