Hello,
My step-father's surname is HUFF. My step-father doesn't know anything about his past as he was from a broken home. However, he says he had relatives in Warrensburg or Warrenburg, MO.
His father was Wiley Z. HUFF. Supposedly, Wiley was born in Excelsior, MO.

Searching on the internet census, I found a Arther/Aurther HUFF and wife Tilly or Lilly M. HUFF, with a Wiley Z. living in Moniteau CO. abt 1910 & 1920.

Arther/Arthur states he was born in Monroe Co., MO. abt. 1873. There is no John living in the home, but perhaps he was distantly related somehow?
Wiley HUFF was b. abt 1908. In 1930 Wiley had moved to Hutchinson, KS.

PETREE and BROWN may also be an associated surnames. Let me know if you find anything! Thanks.
