I have also just located a bigraphical sketch of Mrs. Tainter. It is to be found in "A Memorial and biographical record of Kansas City and Jackson County, Mo." Chicago: Lewis Pub. Co., 1896, page 656-7.
You may find it in your library on on the Ancestry databases.
That sketch is incorrect in some details, notably about her first husband and about the name of her grandmother.
