Christopher Columbus Sutton was born in MO in 1860 and died is CA in 1951. Christopher was one of (11?) children born to William Sutton and Margaret Jane Vance Sutton. I am the grandson of Joseph Andrew Jackson Sutton who was a brother to Christopher. After Christopher moved to CA the family heard very little, if anything, from or about him or his family. For a few years, Christopher worked for "GENERAL HARDWARE AND MILL SUPPLIES, SMITHING COAL AND SEWER PIPE, PLUMBING AND TINSMITHING, Inc." in Webb City, MO. I have a letter(dated July 17, 1906), which Christopher wrote to Joseph, my grandfather. In the letter, Christopher states: "We are all well at present. The children are having a nice time while they are out of school." He was probabally refering to himself, his wife and his children. I would like to know who the wife and children were and if there is a direct line of decendents from Christopher, and any other info about the family. If there are any living decendents or others, relatives(cousins, inlaws, etc.), I would appreciate hearing from any of you. Please reply to this forum or to my E-mail. Thank You for taking the time to read this. Best Regards, Jerry Lee Sutton E-mail: jerrylee38@provalue.net Notify Administrator about this message?
