There was a Alma Southard that was married to one of my kin, B. A. "Hippo" Hodges. He was a pro baseball player in the 1920s and was born there in Hickory or Benton Co., MO. Hippo is buried there at the Fristoe, Benton Co., MO Cemetery. Alma had an auction of everything in 1943 when Hippo died and moved on to some where. She is not buried there. In case you don't know Fristoe is just north of the Hickory Couty line.
That may be of some help to you, I don't know.
