Hi,
I can't help you with the obit, but I do have this info. that you might enjoy having.
I have an 1880 Hickory Co., MO land plat of the land owners. There is a J. B. Shoemaker that has 83.74 acres also on the the same block it has (looks like)T. Mosser. The land sets right against the north side of the town of Wheatland. The road runs east and west between his land and town. The legal wording is Township 38, Range 22, Section 19. Hope it might help you.
