Glanville Murders or Killings
Posted by: Warren Bower (ID *****5500) Date: January 27, 2003 at 15:08:57

Adam C Glanville was Born in 1835. The 1860 census of Twp 36- 21 in Hickory county lists him as a teacher in common schools. He has one child named Thomas born about 1860.

Adam was living next to his father who is a preacher.

I have heard they were both killed on the same night for expressing their views on slavery. The date was September 20, 1863. Can any one find information about this incident for me?
