Keith family

Seeking information regarding the Keiths who were in Clinton, Henry County, MO. around 1900 and later.

Buried in Englewood Cemetery are James E. Keith (b. 1893) and a James M. Keith (b. abt 1920) along with their wives.

Also buried next to them or near them is Sarah Spencer Wilson Keith (b.1855 in S.C. and d. 1928 in Clinton). She was the widow of Calvin M. Keith who was killed in an accident in Rising Fawn, Dade County, Georgia toward the end of January 1887. Sarah and Calvin were the parents of five or six children including one James C. Keith. Per Sarah's obit she was living with James C. and his wife when she died.

Would James E. Keith be the son of James C.?? If anyone has any information regarding this family I would like to hear from you and perhaps exchange info. We have a photo of Sarah and Calvin and one of James C and his two brothers, Samuel Young Keith and Calvin (Jr).

Thank you.
