Posting this for a friend so please e-mail directly to her with correspondence... thanks...

I have a post card that is part of a mystery of my family. My grandfather and his cousin were both raised by their grandfather, Ezekiel S. Timmons and his third wife Salina in Eureka Springs, AR. My grandfather's cousin, Hugh, was a featherweight boxer of some repute and traveled a lot throughout MO/AR/KS, etc. My grandfather and Hugh had one living uncle, William John Timmons who lived in Jefferson Twp., Marshall Co., IA in 1880 but lost track of... I am sure he migrated to AR with the others in the family but cannot find him at all after 1880.

Recently I have received some things from a relative and in it is a postcard. The postcard is dated Jul 12, 1915 and postmark bears the date and the town Clinton, MO. It bears in the authors writing the address of 819 East Alm St., Clinton MO. It is addressed to "Cousin Hugh." If she is Hugh's cousin, then she would also be my grandfather's cousin! She writes that she has received a letter from Hugh and is making a quick reply. The card is a photograph of Ben, "but it isn't very good" she says. Ben could be a boyfriend, or a brother, or perhaps another cousin, I do not know how he fits in since these are all new names in the family tree! Anyway, she mentions that her father hasn't "yet" gotten work and signs it "Your Cousin, Miss Mary Timmons."

Can anyone identify these names and tell me more about this family?

Any information would be appreciated... thanks Carol
