I have recently received information that a Celia A. Stewart, age 41 and born in NC, was listed in the 1850 Henry Co, Census. Her husband, William Stewart, reportedly died in 1847. Their oldest son's name was Lewis.
I am trying to determine if this Celia Stewart was the daughter of my ggg-grandparents, Lewis and Elizabeth Stanton. If so, she was married to William Stewart in 1822 in Blount Co, TN and was living there with three young children in the household during the 1830 census. We have no information about her after that, and had assumed that she migrated West.
I would appreciate any information.
