Looking for information on the families of David Sweeney and his brother John who lived in Trenton, Grundy Co., Mo.
David is on the 1930 Grundy Co. Census (in his 80's) & living with his son Napoleon (b Jan 21, 1888). David was born in VT in ca 1846 and John in ca 1847, also VT. Both are sons of Stephen/Steven Sweeney, who homesteaded in MN in 1866. Both David & John immigrated to Missouri and worked for the railroad in Trenton at one time.
David was married to Clara and had Steven, Edward, Napoleon, Agnes (m George I BAUGH in Trenton in 1910) and Mary.
John was married to Mary and in had an unk sex child in 1887 (#11 child) and in 1888 gave birth to Alva Sweeney (child #12). This family moved to St. Jolin, Mo ??? and he died in 1907, according to family lore.
Any info on either of these families would be appreciated
