Thank you so much for your help. I would like to find out more about the Mansion being used as a station on the Underground Railroad. I haved looked here in the Springfield Library. I believe the location you gave Battlefied Road where Smitty's used to be is the correct location. It is now the local Social Security Office. In 1917, the local newspaper stated that there was a secret passageway and room. Out of state "mediums" told the local authorities to look in the Crenshaw Mansion for the missing Keet baby. The authorities did search the place, but did not search enough. A relative of the Keet family searched later and found the Keet baby in a cistern. Do you know if there are any other mysterious stories about the mansion? In 1888, a man renting the place committed suicide there. Any other info on the mansion would be appreciated. Brian
