Greetings -
I am looking for information on John Wilkinson and his wife Rebecca.
John Wilkinson - Jackson twp, Greene Co., MO 1850 b. abt 1785 Va
Rebecca, wife, b. 1805 VA
Children:
John b. 1827
Clayton b. 1829
Leanora b. 1830
Mary b. 1834
James b. 1836
Leanora married 4 Feb 1847 (Greene co., marriage record)to Hesekiah Ramey b. 1 Dec 1827 KY.
According to Stout Breedlove cemetery records (in Taylor twp.) John and Rebecca Wilkinson are given as the names of Leanora's parents.
Their daughter Mary Frances Ramey b. 1847 married Ransom Drayton Breedlove in 1868. Ransom served three years during the Civil War with the 8th Cavalry. He is my g-grt - grandfather.
I have more information on the Breedloves and a little on the Ramey's - but the Wilkinson line is one that I am having trouble with. Please post if you have any information that may help fill in the blanks - thanks!
